Quanterix Simoa measures protein biomarkers that sit below the detection floor of a conventional ELISA. By isolating single immunocomplexes in individual reaction wells, the assay counts molecules rather than reading a pooled signal — which brings proteins previously reported simply as "not detected" into measurable range.
