ImageStreamX Mark II

Overview

The ImagestreamX MKII is the only system of its kind on the market, combining the speed of flow cytometry and resolution of microscopy. 3 lenses enable 20x, 40x, and 60x magnification of samples and imaging and quantification of up to 12 fluorescent probes from up to 5 lasers. Despite its internal complexity, the program is extremely easy to use with guided “wizards” or stream-lined workflows, enabling the user to get the most data possible out of his/her sample. The system can read either 1.5ml tubes or from 96-well plates.

Resolution down to 330nm2 are possible at a cell-reading rate of over 5000 cells/second

The resultant files of acquired data can be read via the IDEAS software or other 3rd-party software

Automatic fluidics checks and calibrations are run every time the system is activated, allowing the user to prepare the experiment rather than worry about the system being prepared for work.
